David Lightner, Chair
David Lightner is a lifelong Johnson County resident. He is a small business owner, being President of a video and film production company for 30 years. For the last 20 years, he has been involved in local politics, volunteering for a number of local campaigns.

His involvement increased when his wife Patricia ran for State Representative in 1998, a position she served in for six years, and then when she ran for Congress in 2004 and 2010. David ran himself for Olathe City Council in 2009. He has been a volunteer for numerous candidates, which led to being elected as Chair of the Olathe Republican Party in 2011.

David's hero is Ronald Reagan, due in large part to the fat his father grew up with Ronald Reagan in Illinois. David and Patricia have two daughters.

Shenon Bone, Vice-Chair
Shenon Bone, a Republican Precinct Committeewoman and owner of ExactWords, an international translation company, has lived in Olathe for the past 13 years, and earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of Kansas.

Shenon has been married to Michael for 20 years, they have four children, Andrew, Aidan, Monica, and Brighton, and their children attend Olathe Public Schools. They are also parishioners at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. In early 2011, she ran in the special precinct election for State Representative, where her impressive presentation led her to be elected as Olathe Republican Party Vice-Chair.

Mike Krieg, Treasurer
Mike was elected as treasurer of the Olathe Republican Party in March 2009. Mike is currently serving his second term as a Republican Precinct Committeeman. He is active in youth ministry at Life Church in Olathe and is on the Site Council at Briarwood Elementary.

Mike is a Senior Vice President responsible for the support and development of banking software at Dickinson Financial Corporation, a Kansas City-based bank holding company that includes Academy Bank and Armed Forces Bank. He proudly served as an armor officer in the U.S. Army. Mike has lived in Olathe since 1996 with his lovely wife Carrie, who is a pediatric nurse and Republican Precinct Committeewoman. Mike and Carrie have three wonderful daughters.

Mike earned his BS Degree at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he studied National Security/Public Affairs and Systems Engineering, and a MBA from the University of Kansas.

Mike McGovern, Secretary
Mr. McGovern has been re-elected to the Olathe Republican Party and has served as Secretary since 2003. He and his wife Tana, are serving their fifth term as Republican Committeeman and Committeewoman for Olathe Ward 3, Precinct 03. Mike is an underwater consultant and educator for the commercial diving industry and owner and President of RYCAM, Inc., previously named Midwest Marine Contracting, Inc., his successful underwater contracting firm. He was inducted into the Commercial Diving Hall of Fame in 2005 by the Association of Diving Contractors International. Mike has served twice as PTO President at Prince of Peace Catholic School. He was the Cubmaster for Pack 3240 and served as President for the Olathe Catholic Charities Advisory Board for eight years.

In 2003, McGovern ran for the Olathe School Board of Education – District #233. He serves on the Kansans for Life Board. Mike is an NRA Instructor and a trained Kansas Concealed Carry Instructor. McGovern is a resident of Olathe along with his beautiful and loving wife, Tana, and their three active sons, Ryan (age 20), Camron (age 17), and Aaron (age 14).
